He was born on November 18, 1993, in the Northwestern part of Nigeria, specifically in Kaduna state. His birth name is Samuel Jamgbadi and his stage name is a short form of his full name Sam Jamz. He is a contemporary gospel singer, rapper, songwriter, and performing and award-winning artist, who fuses hip-hop, afrobeats, and contemporary gospel music in his art. He studied at the Ambrose Alli University. He began his music career in the 2010s, initially working with other artists in the background building his experience and career. He then released his debut album "Young Ruler" in 2015 and he has gone on to release many other hits like; "GPS (God's Perfect Synchrony)," "Play Myself," "Intoxicate Me" Etc.
In 2019 he won Best Hip-Hop Song at the Crystal Awards and was nominated for Best New Act at the 2020 African Gospel Music Awards.
