Joseph Mayanja, known by his stage name Jose Chameleone, is a legendary multi-award-winning Ugandan musician and songwriter whose influence has shaped the landscape of contemporary African music. His journey began in the late 1990s, where he honed his craft singing in bars and clubs around Kampala. In 2000, the release of his debut album, Bageya, solidified his transition from a local performer to a continental superstar.
