Thamsanqa Shabalala is a South African singer. He is a member of South African choral group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, which was founded by his father, Joseph Shabalala.
Thamsanqa and his other brothers joined the junior choir group, Mshengu White Mambazo, formed by his father at a young age. Later, their father moved him and his brothers to the main choral group when some members left.
At Joseph's retirement in the mid 2010s, Thamsanqa took over as the lead vocalist.
